method

1. get safety glasses and make a blindfold.

2.set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knows where to record your responses.

3.using an ice-cream stick you will dip it into the sample. One the sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response.

4.there will be 2 answers

5.at taste test one you need to hold your nose

answer 1. is it sweet, sour, salty, bitter. record it.

answer 2. what do you think it is. record it.

6.repeat this for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice-cream stick taster for samples 1-4.

Neutralised

today we are testing acids again.

equipment

pipettes

test tube

test tube racks

boiling tubes

water

steps

2.half/quarter fill the boiling tube at one end with sodium hydroxide

3.half/quarter fill the boiling tube at one end with hydrochloric acid

4.fill each test tube with 5 drops of Universal indicator

5.Using the pipettes you will add drops of the acid or alkaline to the test tube to make colours of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet

science-change

today in science we got a empty bottle a cork some vinegar and baking soda first we got the bottle and then we put the vinegar and then we took 2 teaspoons and then we put on the cork very fast because  the gas rise very fast then the cork pop out of the bottle and then the gas escape the bottle and got out of the bottle so it had more space to move and then we will do it again but outside.
