The rock pool

Today in math we had a problem to solve named  The Rock Pool were we had to find out how many mermaid were their. It was hard I got some help so I find ways to find out how much mermaids were their. There were three mermaids  4 octopi and 5 fish.  It was the hardest part was finding how much arms were their.  It was easy doing the eyes. This activity was fun if you want to know more comment.

Today in school we were learning about  private and personal information. Personal information is information you can share in the internet. Private information is information you can't share. Our teacher Mrs Jones gave us a activity. about turning private information into personal information it is on the picture below. The hardest question was question 8 because it was a trick question, the most easiest question was question 1.

Today in Art we did a drawing about our self what we had to do is get a picture of yourself cut it in a half(I recommend using a ruler). After you did that cut background to, then you draw your other side on a A4 paper. Then you glue it on a A3 paper.

Today in reading we have been looking at myths and legends about Maui and we are also doing compare and contrast. We have been looking at different stories about Maui and how he discovered fire. We have been looking at myths and legends because it is almost Matariki. Here is my compare and contrast about Maui and the Magic of Fire. Today in writing we have been learning how to use free verse poems. A free verse poem is a poem that doesn't rhyme but really connects to the topic. The topic of our free verse poem is Matariki since because Is is almost Matariki.
