in math our math teacher gave us a challenge. the challenge was that you get a triangle and you have to flip it by changing 3 counters and only moving three counters. the way I did was that I move the top counter to the bottom middle next was that I move the two bottom counters on the side to the top like this. the challenge was easy and fun.

Today in Maori we learned about Maori greetings and others. We practiced

the translations of greetings like kia ora, ata marie, and more like this picture there are tons of greeting like kamusta bounjour, tena koutou, and tons more.

who thief is

in math have been doing a case activity there a sheet of a crime about a missing gingerbread houses we did four activity's each one was an a clue for who was the thief the thief is a child wearing Christmas sweater and also the child is a female and her name is Irena vicks. this was a fun activity.

St Andrews Fun Day

On Friday some leaders from St Andrews school came to South Hornby. They ran some activities for us like Jump jam, marshmallow towers, multi sport, play dough and ping pong catapult also they gave us free lunch, they gave us sausage sizzle and orange juice. today was really fun today was great if you want to know more just comment down below.

surfing trip!

on Friday we went to learn  how to surf and body boarding. we went to Sumner beach to learn surfing. there were four instructors but I forget their name. before we surf we talked about the places of of the surf board we the front is called the nose the back is the tail the sides were the rails and the below of the board is called the bottom. the first group that went to surf was group one. after that it was our turn we went surfing first. after that we went to eat then we went to body board .After that we had to change into our school clothes cause t was almost time to go on the bus after that we got to do a school picture after that we got on the bus.

definition of trick, bribe, and secret

today we were learning about secrets, bribes, and tricks. the definition of trick is to be cunning to make people believe on what you say.the definition of bribe is telling someone to do something then after they do it they give you something. the definition of secret is something you know but no one doesn't.

time challenges

today in strand math we have been learning about time.the teacher gave us strips of paper with three time challenges.how the challenges work was you had to estimate the challenge and do the challenge and time your self of how long it takes for you to do that challenges.the hardest challenge was writing the 1 to 100 digits the challenge that I have to work on is the 1 to 100 challenge. this activity was fun if you want to know more comment down below.
